Agnes Caroline Mosman 1865-1950

Agnes’s parents, George and Jane Mosman
Agnes was George and Jane Mosman’s youngest daughter. She was born at Burrowel when George was 65, three years before his death. Her widowed mother Jane died when Agnes was eight and she was possibly brought up by her elder sister Emily or by the Blanch family. 

At Brandon on 26 June 1895 Agnes married New Zealander Arthur Edward Baber. She was 30 and he was 35. After a couple of years in New Zealand they returned to Australia and their three children were born on Sydney’s North Shore. 

Arthur was a surveyor and they lived in Artarmon. He died there in 1934 at 69. Agnes died 16 years later at Ryde
